Participation of FEL researchers at the CEFC 2018 in China
On 28 - 31 October 2018, scientists at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen headed with Professor Pavel Karban, attends the prestigious CEFC 2018 conference in China.
This conference is organized by the local Zhejiang University, which is referred to as the Cambridge University of the Orient. CEFC 2018 is one of the most important scientific and technological events in the field of computational electromagnetism, focusing on presenting the latest knowledge in modeling and simulation for the analysis of electromagnetic fields and wave interactions. Scientists from all over the world present unique contributions in these areas.
The purpose of the trip to CEFC 2018 was to present the current state of research to FEL in this area.. Four articles were presented in the framework of the conference: Iveta Petrášová, Ivo Doležel, Pavel Karban, Lukáš Korous and David Pánek. Researchers presented the following articles:
Pánek David a Karban Pavel - Reduced Model of Induction Brazing of Nonmagnetic Metals
Pánek David, Karban Pavel a Doležel Ivo - Calibration of Numerical Model of Magnetic Induction Brazing
Petrášová Iveta, Karban Pavel, Pánek David - Design of Electrothermal Self-sensing Microactuators with Embedded Sensors
Korous Lukáš a Karban Pavel - Distributed Parameter-less Adaptive DGFEM MHD Solver for Astrophysics
All of the above-mentioned contributions were very welcomed and had excellent responses.
