Conference CEFC 2016
These days, several researchers from the team "Mathematical-physical modelling" from RICE are taking part in the prestigious biennial conference CEFC 2016. The conference represents one of the largest events aimed at computational electromagnetics.
The conference is organized under auspices of IEEE and International Compumag Society. About 500 scientists from the domains of Theory of Electrical Engineering and Applied Mathematics are present. This year, the place of the conference is Miami in Florida. The active participants are (from the left) Assoc. Prof. Pavel Karban, Dr. František Mach, Prof. Ivo Doležel, Dr. David Pánek and Assoc. Prof. Václav Kotlan.
The conference has one more bonus for participants from our Centre. On Wednesday, the decision will be made whether FEL UWB in Pilsen will be successful with its offer to organize this conference in Pilsen in 2020. The other competitors are Greece (University of Thessalonike) and Italy (University of Pisa).
