Conference PRECEDE 2017 on RICE succesfully finished
The Regional Innovation Centre for of Electrical engineering (RICE) of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen organized an international conference "4th Symposium on Predictive Control of Electrical Drives and Power Electronics - PRECEDE 2017". The conference was held on 5 and 6 September in the building of the Research Centre RICE.
This year's event, organized under the auspices of Professor Kennel of the Technical University of Munich and Professor Peroutka of RICE / FEL, followed last successful conference in Valparaíso, Chile, in 2015. The topic of lectures and subsequent discussions was the new algorithms of power electronics control using the mathematical model. This approach is called predictive control.
The purpose of the conference was to discuss current issues in this approach, such as the robustness and stability of the methods used, identification / estimation of parameters, implementation problems and case studies.
The symposium was attended by 35 experts from 11 countries, from Asia to America. From China, Taiwan, Iran, South Africa, Chile. European countries represented participants from Germany, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, Finland and the Czech Republic. In addition to academics, industry experts participated in the symposium.
